The Retreat provides a vehicle for volunteers to transport clients to these appointments. When children need to be transported, they will always be accompanied by their guardian.

Volunteers must have a safe driving record and be fingerprinted before they are able to drive clients.

Things to know before becoming a volunteer

When your volunteer application is received, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you about attending an orientation session. All new volunteers must attend this orientation.

In order to ensure the safety and security of our clients and staff, all positions working directly with clients or in our residential shelter require fingerprinting and a background check.
