The Enough is Enough law (New York State Education Law Article 129-B) was enacted to strengthen campus responses to sexual violence and create safer college communities across New York State. The law established a universal definition of affirmative consent at all colleges in New York, a uniform sexual assault policy, enhanced reporting options, and funding for rape crisis centers to provide services, education, and awareness programs.

The Retreat’s Enough is Enough Project Coordinator partners with colleges and universities across Long Island, providing prevention education on sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, consent, and healthy relationships. The coordinator presents to students, faculty, and staff, serves as a campus resource on state and federal laws—including Enough is Enough, Title IX, the Clery Act, and the Campus Save Act—and works closely with campus partners to identify student needs and strengthen prevention efforts. Through ongoing conversations with campus life offices, student organizations, residence life, faculty, and other campus stakeholders, programming is tailored to meet the unique needs of each campus community.
