The Retreat is proud to join Project Connect Plus (+)—a comprehensive, community-wide initiative now available across Long Island. This unique program offers free, wraparound services for individuals and families navigating addiction, abuse, and economic hardship.

Whether you’re facing domestic violence, sexual assault, substance use, housing instability, or food insecurity, Project Connect+ is here to support you on your path to healing and self-sufficiency.

What Project Connect+ Offers

Through this program, The Retreat and partner organizations provide free and confidential support:

  • Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment
    Access to navigation services, treatment programs, and recovery support.
  • Economic Opportunity Services
    Help with job searches, benefit applications, and pathways to financial stability.
  • Safety Planning & Shelter
    Resources for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
  • Food Insecurity Assistance
    Support for children, families, veterans, and seniors through food pantries and nutrition programs.

Project Connect+ is a collaborative effort led by trusted Long Island organizations, including:
Northwell Health, Community Action Partnerships, CN Guidance Counseling, Island Harvest, and Community Action for Social Justice (CASJ)—working together to offer holistic, trauma-informed support.
