The Retreat provides an immediate, reliable, full-service, safe emergency shelter for adults and their children
The Retreat provides a full-service emergency shelter for single adults and adults with their children who are experiencing domestic violence dating violence, sexual abuse, or stalking.
At the shelter, survivors receive the support, planning, and connection to resources that they need in order to experience long-term safety and security for themselves and their children. Our purpose is to help ensure that each client has a realistic plan for long-term safety.
Other services provided at the shelter include welcome bags, clothing, holiday meals and celebrations, birthday parties, and classes in a variety of topics including art, cooking, yoga, and gardening.
Generous community volunteers provided residents with trips to pumpkin picking, apple picking, bowling, museums, and other attractions.
