A pesar de estas cifras, el acoso suele considerarse como algo \u201cmolesto\u201d, \u201cinofensivo\u201d o \u201csimplemente atenci\u00f3n no deseada\u201d. En realidad, puede ser aterrador, peligroso y perturbar profundamente la sensaci\u00f3n de seguridad de una persona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el acoso?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El acoso es un patr\u00f3n de comportamiento dirigido a una persona espec\u00edfica que causa miedo o angustia emocional. No se trata de un incidente aislado, sino de acciones repetidas que pueden intensificarse con el tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de las v\u00edctimas son acosadas por alguien que conocen: una pareja actual o anterior, un conocido, un compa\u00f1ero de trabajo o un amigo. Los acosadores suelen utilizar una combinaci\u00f3n de comportamientos presenciales y tecnolog\u00eda para vigilar, contactar, amenazar, intimidar o manipular. Esto puede incluir mensajes repetidos, presentarse sin haber sido invitado, rastrear la ubicaci\u00f3n de alguien o utilizar las redes sociales y las herramientas digitales para mantener el control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Por qu\u00e9 es importante la concienciaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El acoso no solo es invasivo, sino que puede poner en peligro la vida:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El acoso aumenta tres veces el riesgo de homicidio por parte de la pareja \u00edntima.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uno de cada cinco casos de acoso implica el uso de armas.<strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas realidades ponen de relieve por qu\u00e9 el acoso debe tomarse en serio, creerse y abordarse desde el principio.
