Esta es una de las principales razones por las que las v\u00edctimas no pueden dejar a una pareja maltratadora o tienen que volver con ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El abuso financiero incluye cualquier comportamiento que mantenga el poder y el control sobre las finanzas en una relaci\u00f3n de pareja. Estos comportamientos pueden afectar tanto directa como indirectamente a las finanzas de alguien, y generalmente tienen que ver con hacer que la pareja pierda su trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algunos ejemplos son el control de los activos financieros y la imposici\u00f3n efectiva de una prestaci\u00f3n a la pareja; infligir da\u00f1os f\u00edsicos o lesiones que impidan a la persona acudir al trabajo; acosar a la pareja en su lugar de trabajo; da\u00f1ar la puntuaci\u00f3n crediticia de la pareja; y obligar a alguien a dejar su trabajo. El maltrato econ\u00f3mico da miedo, y 99% de los supervivientes lo han sufrido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La educaci\u00f3n financiera es una herramienta fundamental para las supervivientes que intentan abandonar a una pareja maltratadora. El programa Take Charge! de Retreat se centra en la educaci\u00f3n financiera, la solvencia crediticia, la b\u00fasqueda de empleo y la preparaci\u00f3n para el mismo, la alfabetizaci\u00f3n, las oportunidades educativas y otros programas de \"avance\" para clientes residenciales y de divulgaci\u00f3n con el fin de que alcancen el bienestar financiero.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El programa informa a los clientes con la ayuda de expertos en finanzas, educaci\u00f3n, carrera profesional, nutrici\u00f3n y vivienda.
