Los defensores trabajan con cada persona para registrar los incidentes y rellenar las peticiones judiciales. Para ello se requiere una documentaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida, que incluya mensajes de texto impresos e informes policiales, si se dispone de ellos. En los tribunales de familia, la carga de la prueba recae siempre en la v\u00edctima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Recomendamos a nuestros clientes que lleven un diario\", afirma Stacy. \"Un diario es una herramienta extremadamente \u00fatil para anotar todos los incidentes. Es lo que utilizamos para crear la petici\u00f3n\". Sin embargo, puede ser peligroso si lo descubre el agresor, por lo que las v\u00edctimas deben mantenerlo oculto o d\u00e1rselo a una persona de confianza para que lo guarde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Uno de los mayores retos a los que se enfrentan los abogados son las amenazas a su seguridad o a la de sus clientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Estamos cara a cara con los agresores cada vez que vamos al tribunal\", dice Stacy, y a\u00f1ade que pueden re\u00f1irles, insultarles o incluso seguirles hasta la oficina. Por ello, siempre hacen planes para su propia seguridad, incluida la b\u00fasqueda de acompa\u00f1antes para salir del juzgado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El momento m\u00e1s peligroso para una v\u00edctima es cuando abandona una relaci\u00f3n por primera vez. Y solicitar una Orden de Protecci\u00f3n puede ser un detonante para el maltratador. En la sala del tribunal, los maltratadores suelen sentarse cerca de los clientes para intimidarlos, asustarlos o intentar que se sientan culpables para que no sigan adelante con el procedimiento legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los defensores crean <a href=\"https:\/\/allagainstabuse.org\/es\/digital-downloads\/safety-planning\/\">planes de seguridad<\/a> para sus clientes que cubren el proceso judicial e incluyen mochilas y documentos de emergencia en caso de que el cliente tenga que huir de una situaci\u00f3n peligrosa.
