Me sent\u00eda como si estuviera sola en el mundo y ninguno de mis familiares o amigos lo entendiera. Me sent\u00eda avergonzada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <a href=\"https:\/\/allagainstabuse.org\/es\/get-help\/legal-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aboga por<\/a> me ayudaron a completar todo el papeleo necesario para solicitar una orden de protecci\u00f3n. Se sentaron y me tomaron de la mano en la sala de espera del tribunal de familia y estuvieron a mi lado en todas las audiencias judiciales posteriores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He recibido <a href=\"https:\/\/allagainstabuse.org\/es\/get-help\/help-counseling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">asesoramiento<\/a> a trav\u00e9s de los a\u00f1os de una maravillosa terapeuta que me mostr\u00f3 que no estaba sola. Ella conoc\u00eda todos los signos de mi abuso y me dio la sensaci\u00f3n de que no estaba loca.  Me crey\u00f3. Me dio una nueva confianza en m\u00ed misma. El Retiro nos ayud\u00f3 a m\u00ed y a mis hijos a superar nuestros peores momentos y nos dej\u00f3 las herramientas necesarias para empezar una nueva vida.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estoy eternamente agradecida al personal de The Retreat por el tiempo que pas\u00e9 con ellos. Me dejaron desplegar mis alas cuando estaba preparada. Pas\u00e9 de ser una madre sola, asustada, que se quedaba en casa sin dinero propio, a ser una mujer fuerte y segura de s\u00ed misma que consigui\u00f3 un trabajo y trabaj\u00f3 duro para ponerme a m\u00ed y a mis hijos en una posici\u00f3n en la que podemos devolverlo.
