LORETTA DAVIS: El Retiro proporciona seguridad, refugio y apoyo a ni\u00f1os y adultos que son v\u00edctimas de violencia en las relaciones, abusos y\/o agresiones sexuales. Adem\u00e1s, la mayor\u00eda de la gente cree que todos nuestros clientes viven en el refugio. La mayor\u00eda accede a nuestros servicios desde sus casas en el East End. LD: Hay muchas historias de supervivientes. Ese es el mensaje importante. Para los que todav\u00eda viven con el abuso, miren nuestras historias de \u00e9xito. Busquen ayuda. Tuvimos un ni\u00f1o que dej\u00f3 de hablar por los abusos que presenci\u00f3. Tras un asesoramiento individual y familiar, empez\u00f3 a hablar de nuevo gracias a la confianza y el apoyo que experiment\u00f3.
