Thrift Store Associate (part-time)

Job Summary

Responsible for helping the thrift store manager conduct the daily operations of the store.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include

  • helping to oversee all aspects of accepting and evaluating donations of clothing, furniture, and household items,
  • ensuring store maintenance,
  • managing daily deposit paperwork,
  • running the store along with the manager or independently on days as needed,
  • communicating with the store manager on daily activities.

This position reports to the Thrift Store Manager.

Qualifications

Ability to lift heavy objects (40+ pounds).
Ability to multitask and work with a variety of people in a busy environment.
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Valid and clean driver license.
Knowledge of thrift store operations a plus.
